Blue Whales

This mother and child Blue Whale sculpture was created at the studio of Sydney-based artist, Terrance Plowright.  The sculpture was installed in 2000, and still hangs at Cockle Bay in Sydney's Darling Harbour. 

Creating this sculpture was a complex process involving sculpting and creating the moulds to create the end product of the clear fibreglass exterior and the skeletons within - this was the job of the team including myself and other extremely talented artisans.
